NGS Gardens, Pembrokeshire 2024

LOCAL GARDEN CLUB NEWS

Local garden clubs are invited to submit their programmes, garden news, and links to us and we will publish and advertise them here.

Drefach Felindre Gardening Club

​

All our meetings are open to all. Guests simply pay £2 per meeting which includes refreshments. All our meetings are held at 7.30 pm in the Red Dragon Hall (SA44 5UG) on the first Wednesday of each month except for the December meeting. Raffle and refreshments.

Newport & District Gardening Club

​

Newport Gardening Club welcomes visitors to its meetings, which are held at 7.30pm in the Boat Club, Parrog, Newport SA42 0RP on the last Tuesday of the month. Guests pay £4 which includes refreshments. Raffle and refreshments. Further information - phone 01239 82102

St. Clears Garden Club

​

St Clears Garden Club meets on the second Monday of the month at Ysgol Griffith Jones, St Clears. Visitors are welcome. Refreshments and Raffle.

LOCAL EVENTS

Members are invited to Visitor & Volunteer days at the Naturewise Community Forest Garden, on Tuesdays and every third Saturday of the month. The 5 acre garden is at Parc Teifi, Cardigan (past the Police station on the retail park). See their website for more details

Martin Weatherhead, (husband of Nina), is displaying the Peredur Tapestry in the Senedd in Cardiff from 16 March to 30 April, if you are in the capital. On 15 April between 12.00-1.30pm he will be giving an illustrated talk on the making of the tapestry, which took four years to complete.
